Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN Hospice Care Nights

Department: Clinical - Nurses
Location: Mason, OH

LPN- Hospice Care Night Shift

Queen City Hospice – Southwest Ohio
Schedule: 3x 12-hour night shifts (8 PM – 8 AM) per week, including rotating weekends

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care per the State Nurse Practice Act

  • Follow and implement the plan of care based on comprehensive assessments

  • Ensure timely, accurate documentation of all patient services

  • Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers

  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate hospice services

  • Manage and evaluate pain and symptom relief treatments


What You’ll Need:

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program

  • 3+ years of nursing experience (hospice, med/surg, or community health preferred)

  • Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice

  • Current CPR certification

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance per state requirements

  • Understanding of hospice philosophy and the unique needs of the terminally ill
