Home Care Quality Assurance Specialist (Home Visits)

Department: Branch Admin
Location: Las Cruces, NM

Position Summary: : The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) is responsible for coordinating in-home services according to the client agreement. This position will ensure client services have been scheduled and started with new and current Home Care Aides. The QAS will be responsible for establishing partnerships with the home care aide and clients with an emphasis on creating high-quality matches and extraordinary relationships. This role ensures compliance with company and Department on Aging rules, regulations, and standards. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively, plan, organize and prioritize tasks, respond promptly to emails and phone queries, answer multi-line phones and comfortable using Microsoft Office/Internet. Bilingual preferred but not required (Some knowledge preferrable)

Location: Ambercare 3870 Foothills Road Las Cruces, NM 88011

Schedule: Monday through Friday - 8am to 5pm (40 hours a week)

Essential Duties:

  • Meet all key performance metrics and standards as defined for hiring and retention metrics, quality assurance, productivity and where appropriate, revenue generation and retention.
  • Responsible for managing and tracking perspective and current Home Care Aides through our data management systems.
  • Work in partnership with the Service/Scheduling Coordinators to coordinate home care aide schedules with client services as needed.
  • Attend branch meetings.
  • Always maintain a high degree of confidentiality due to access to sensitive information.
  • Ensure regular, predictable, and consistent attendance, and be flexible to meet the needs of the department.
  • Maintain compliance with all company and Department on Aging rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Follow all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Adhere to all company regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements & Competencies:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the field of senior services or a related social service field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle high call volumes.
  • Client-focused and customer service-driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance for travel within the branch service area.
